Retractable ratchet straps provide a compact load restraint solution with an integrated automatic retraction mechanism that stores the webbing within the ratchet assembly when not in use. This helps keep excess webbing contained and reduces the need for manual winding after use.
Our range includes 25mm and 50mm retractable ratchet straps suitable for securing a variety of light to medium loads, including motorcycles, luggage, equipment and general cargo. All retractable ratchet straps are manufactured in accordance with EN12195-2:2001 and are clearly labelled with their lashing capacity and product information. Retractable Ratchet Strap Selection Retractable ratchet straps combine a conventional ratchet tensioning mechanism with an enclosed spring-loaded reel that automatically retracts the webbing when released. This keeps the strap contained within the ratchet assembly and helps prevent loose webbing during storage and handling. Available in 25mm and 50mm webbing widths, our retractable ratchet straps are supplied in a range of lengths and end fitting configurations to suit different load securing applications. Selecting the correct strap depends on the load weight, available anchor points and the required lashing method. All retractable ratchet straps are manufactured in accordance with EN12195-2:2001 and should be inspected before each use. Any strap showing signs of cuts, abrasion, damaged stitching, damaged hardware or other defects should be removed from service.
