Shipping Rates and Terms

Our aim at Taut-Strap is to keep our shipping rates as straight-forward and as transparent as possible, so that you can see exactly what you will pay for shipping on your order.
Rates are based on the weight of the order combined with the delivery zone.
We have three shipping zones set up. 

  • Mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland, some Scottish postcodes, and selected postcodes at the outer limits of the UK).  
  • Northern Ireland, some Scottish postcodes and some postcodes at the outer limits of the UK.
  • Republic of Ireland.

Please see below a guide to the rates and services that we offer within the zones (please note these prices are to be used as a guide only and you need to check your shipping rates at checkout for the exact shipping costs):

Mainland UK 

Orders over £100 in value = Free Standard Delivery (3 day service)
Next Day before 5pm: £7.99 for 30kg (additional approx. £5.00 for each further 30kg)
Next Day before 12pm: £12.45 for 30kg (additional approx. £10.00 for each further 30kg)

Northern Ireland plus the rest of the UK (as detailed above)

48hr Express: £19.95 for 30kg (additional approx. £15.00 for each further 30kg)

Republic of Ireland

48hr Express Service: £16.50 for 30kg (additional £16.50 for each further 30kg)

Please note:

  • It is our aim to deliver within the above mentioned times, however delivery times are not guaranteed as deliveries are handled by external courier companies and any delays are therefore out of our control.
  • The cut-off time for next day or 48 hour delivery is 12:00pm.  Any orders received after this time, will be processed for delivery the following day.
  • If there is nobody at the delivery address to receive the delivery, the carrier will leave a card with details of how to rearrange the delivery.
  • All items leave our factory quality checked and packaged in a suitable way. Please check your delivery when it arrives and if necessary unpack it before signing the delivery note(s).
  • Delivery companies will not accept claims for damages if the delivery was signed for as “received in good condition” or “unchecked”. Therefore we cannot accept liability for damaged goods unless the delivery notes are signed for as 'Damaged' upon receipt. Photos at the time of delivery, or other evidence you can give us to assist any claims would also be helpful and appreciated.
  • Any damage, discrepancies or shortages must be notified to us within two days of delivery. 
  • Shipping charges are subject to change without prior notice by Taut-Strap
  • We reserve the right to change the shipping charge prior to dispatch of goods, but only after contacting and receiving acceptance from the customer first.
  • Ownership and title of the goods shall not be passed to the customer until payment in full for the goods has been received by Taut-Strap.
  • Once delivery of the goods has been made to the customer, any risk shall also be passed to the customer.
