If you purchase a product from our website and find the same product for a lower total price on another website within 48 hours of your purchase, we will refund the difference, subject to the conditions below.
How to Make a Claim
Email sales@taut-strap.co.uk within 48 hours of placing your order and provide your Taut-Strap order number, a link to the competitor’s product, a screenshot clearly showing the product and price, and your full name and contact telephone number.
We may ask for further information if we cannot confirm that the products and offers are equivalent.
What Qualifies?
The competitor’s product must be new, in stock and available to purchase when you make your claim. It must be available from another online retailer and be the same product, quantity and pack size as the product purchased from Taut-Strap. It must also have equivalent specifications, quality and fittings.
For straps, this means the same length, webbing width, webbing material, break strength or lashing capacity, and the same type of ratchet, buckle, hooks and other fittings.
The competitor must be able to deliver the product to the same delivery destination.
Comparing Prices
We compare the total cost of purchasing and receiving the product, not just the advertised product price.
The comparison includes the product price, delivery and handling charges, VAT, taxes, duties and other compulsory charges, and any other fee payable when ordering or receiving the product.
What Is Excluded?
The Price Match Guarantee does not apply to auction websites or third-party marketplace sellers, including eBay and Amazon Marketplace.
It also does not apply to prices available only through a promotional code, members-only, subscription or loyalty discounts, limited-time or personalised promotions, trade quotations or individually negotiated prices, used, refurbished, clearance or damaged products, or obvious pricing and website errors.
Refunds
We aim to confirm whether your claim has been accepted within three working days.
If accepted, we will refund the difference to the same payment method used for your original purchase. We will process the refund promptly, but your bank or payment provider may require additional time for the amount to appear in your account.
Changes to the Guarantee
We reserve the right to change or withdraw the Price Match Guarantee at any time. Any change will not affect a qualifying claim relating to a purchase made before the guarantee was changed or withdrawn.
This Price Match Guarantee is additional to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
